Invasive radiology and beam diagnostics
Invasive Radiology is a modern, rapidly developing area of radiology combining diagnosis and treatment.

An interventional radiologist, after applying radiological diagnostic methods uses special needles, elastic catheters and X-ray computer equipment for treatment. General anesthesia is not used here, blood transfusions are not performed and tissue integrity is maintained. Interventional x-ray surgeons perform the most complex x-rays operations without scalpels.

Existing radiological fields in the Republican Diagnostic Center:

  • General Radiology
  • Radiology of the musculoskeletal system
  • Radiological examinations for children
  • Magnetic Resonance
  • Tomography
  • Computer
  • Tomography
  • X-ray
  • USM

Operations:

  • Closed intravascular surgery - more than 350 - various operations
  • Vascular pathologies of the brain and spinal cord
  • Aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations - fistulas, embolization
  • Stroke prevention
  • Stenting of the carotid artery - cerebellar artery
  • Thrombectomy in acute stroke
  • Closure of malformations of the spinal cord
  • Vascular pathologies of organs and surrounding arteries
  • Balloon and stent expansion in narrowing and retention of arteries of the upper and lower extremities
  • Operations for peripheral aneurysms and vascular malformations
  • Stenting of the arterial walls of organs such as the renal artery, small intestinal artery
  • Endovascular laser ablation of varicose veins
  • Aortic pathologies
  • Evar, tevar (closed closure of aortic aneurysms using a stent graft)
  • Stenting of aortic stenosis and inflammatory pathologies of the aorta
  • Oncological interventions
  • Intravenous and percutaneous palliative-curatorial treatment of the liver and various derivative organs, such as taking, ablation
  • Stenting of the urinary tract, nephrostomy
  • Drainage and stenting of the bile ducts
  • Embolization of uterine fibroids (uterine fibroids)
  • Vascular external pathologies
  • Abscess catheter or needle drainage
  • Drainage of various fluid collections (urinoma, lymphocele, biloma)
  • Treatment of echinococcal cystic pair
  • A large number of minimally invasive endovascular operations, not classified above, due to the rapid development of micromaterial technology

In the radiology department of the Republican Diagnostic Center, using the most modern, new technical equipment, radiologists carry out various diagnostic examinations and non-surgical therapeutic interventions.
